The Magna Carta is an angevin charter. It was signed under oath by King John at Runnymede, on the River Thames near Windsor. It was signe don England at June 15, 1215.
The Magna Carta is one of the most important documents in history. It gave the people certain rights, and limited the king to certain laws.
    The importance of Magna Carta:
The Magna Carta limited the power of English Monarchs, specifically King John, from complete rule. Once he signed it he didn’t have so much power as he used to have because the Magna Carta made the king to quit some rights, respect certain legal procedures, and to accept that the will of the king could be bound by law.
The Magna Carta was the first step in a long historical process leading to the rule of constitutional law.

The Magna Carta is a very important document that was signed in england in 1215.This document was signed by King John who was obligated by the barons to do so. This was because King John increased the taxes without asking the barons, when they refused to pay the King arrested them. Also because he had problems with the church and he was defeated several times at the war.
The Magna Carta established that the King of England couldn´t collect any taxes (except for the feudal taxes that they were accustomed to)
This turned into a parliament (english parliament) which progressively limited the english monarchy power. This parliament got together with two other parliament and is now known as the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
